    Dear Courageous Community Services Family,

We regret to inform you that the Courageous Communities Summer Camp for 2019 has been cancelled. The camp grounds and facilities require renovations and we have made the difficult decision to not host the camp this year while we work on improvements to better our camper’s experience.

We will be utilizing the summer concentrating on upgrading the camp facilities to make Courageous Acres an even better place for our community. We will share additional details over the coming months about the exciting updates and additions to the facilities. We will also keep you updated as we progress through this year via our website.

CCS will be contacting all the families that had already applied and funded their deposits which will be refunded in full.

We genuinely apologize for any disappointment we may have caused however after a thorough evaluation, we recognized the need to make some much required improvements in addition to adding some new exciting additions to the camp.

We sincerely hope you trust in our decision and look forward in anticipation to the grand reopening of the camp in 2020.

Note: All PROGRAMS including People 1st, Parent Support, and Life Skills Training will continue to operate AS NORMAL.

Please reach out to us with any questions you may have and we look forward to welcoming you in to a new and even more exciting camp experience in 2020.

Master Chemical Corporation (Perrysburg) kick-started our Volunteer Camp Clean-Up weekend this year in May. More than 20 Master Chemical employees volunteered their time and talent to help us paint, clean the pool, fix kitchen equipment, etc.. in preparation for another great camp season with our special needs campers.

Over the next 3 days, more than 50 people joined in the efforts to help ready our grounds and welcome more than 300 campers. A heartfelt thank you to all who came out whether for an hour or an entire day! Your efforts are truly appreciated.
