Cleveland Computer Society (CCS)

Cleveland Computer Society (CCS) is an umbrella society made up of autonomous organizations, amateur and professional, which have an interest in information technology and computing knowledge using micro to mainframe skills. CCS is an umbrella society versus a user group and shall do nothing to compete with its member organizations. CCS is an independent affiliate of member organizations and with no obligation to any company or sponsor.

Statement of Purpose:

bulletTo inform the community at large of the existence and functions of the member organizations
bulletTo assist the member organizations and their members to provide a wider spectrum and greater depth of services than is available as a single organization. The larger combined membership base of the Cleveland Computer Society shall be the primary tool to provide those services.
bulletTo promote interaction and support among member organizations interested in the world of information technology.
bulletTo provide member organizations with a Speakers Bureau resource listing for program planning.
bulletTo coordinate speaker presentations to multiple regional user groups
bulletTo assist the training of  the member groups in leadership development
bulletTo provide a message Forum for exchanging ideas among the member groups and a tie to the public.
